Middle Ground Prison Reform Project

Middle Ground Prison Reform Rebrand 2018:
Brand Statement:
To protect and define the rights, responsibilities, and privileges of the incarcerated.
We support genuine efforts at rehabilitation of criminal offenders, which, in turn, fully restores them to our communities, promotes family stability, authentic long-term public safety, and reduces the numbers of crime victims in our society.  We engage in efforts to hold government agencies and their agents accountable for the tax dollars used to support prisons, jails, and other criminal justice activities. We perform this work via public education, legislative advocacy, litigation, and referral to existing social services.  We serve as a clearinghouse for relevant information affecting the incarcerated and their supporters.
The Logo:
We decided to change the logo because the organization did not really have a logo in the first place.  Middle Ground Prison Reform is using its platform to do good in the community but had no face or recognizable logo to build upon their platform.  Now they will have a simple recognizable logo that they can put on shirts and products to help promote their organization.
The Process:
Marketing Collateral:
The Middle Ground Prison Reform didn't have a logo that was identifiable, and so we made them one. The new one shows the Statue of Liberty holding the a balance. The balance symbolizes justice and it relates to the brand because they are lawyers. The State of Liberty symbolizes hope and the brand gives hope to people in jail for a chance to live a better life.
